
Stampede and NORCO Hosting Local Veterans

BOISE, Idaho, March 9, 2012 - The Idaho Stampede, along with NORCO, are honoring members of the military and all war veterans by hosting "Heroes of the Hardwood Night" at the Stampede home contest against the Texas Legends on March 14.
At halftime, the Stampede will host the Idaho Warriors wheelchair basketball game presented by NORCO. The Idaho Warriors are a group of native-Idahoan injured war veterans, will play an exhibition wheelchair basketball game. NORCO is already involved with local war veterans, having donated its Stampede corporate box to the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center for war veterans to enjoy home games the past two seasons.
Ticket specials are available for all past and present military members, as well as their family members; anyone interested in group tickets or ticket specials should call the Stampede office at 208-388-4667.
