
Timbers Defender Futty Danso out 4-6 Weeks

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers today announced that defender Futty Danso sustained a fractured fifth metatarsal in his left foot Tuesday during training.
Danso, 28, is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
A member of The Gambia National Team, Danso started in 23 of the 24 games he appeared in during the 2011 Timbers season. He scored three goals and maintained an MLS-best season-opening streak of 604 minutes without committing a foul.
