Prince George Cougars News Release
Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars are excited to welcome the players' families to town this weekend when the Cougars go head-to-head with the Spokane Chiefs on Friday and Saturday at CN Centre. The families and billets will be recognized during a red-carpet flower ceremony before Saturday's game.
"This is always a special weekend for us," said Prince George Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. "It provides a great opportunity for our player and billet families to socialize and enjoy a couple of games at the CN Centre. I would like to thank the CN Centre for their help in making this annual weekend possible."
The players' families will be treated to a night in the suites and along with the billet families have been invited to a reception in the CN Centre Ice Lounge on Saturday.
Friday night's game is "Tour Your Town" night, which provides visiting families and fans a chance to explore some of the local attractions in and around Prince George. The "Tour Your Town" attractions include: Barkerville, Huble Homestead, The Exploration Place, and the Community Arts Council.
Tickets for both games this weekend are available through Ticketmaster at 250-564-5585.
