
Roughnecks Capture Third Road Win of Season

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks captured their third road win of the season after defeating the Washington Stealth 12-11 Friday night at the Comcast Arena.
Jeff Shattler led the Roughnecks scoring attack with four markers, reaching a career milestone of 100 NLL goals. Shawn Evans, Curtis Dickson and Daryl Veltman each netted two while Geoff Snider and Scott Ranger also scored for Calgary.
Lewis Ratcliff (4g, 3a) and Rhys Duch (1g, 6a) led the Stealth with seven points each while Tyler Richards made 59 saves for Washington.
Mike Poulin and Frankie Scigliano both stood between the pipes for Calgary. Poulin made 11 saves while Scigliano stopped 34 of 39 shots to record his first National Lacrosse League win. Shattler led the team with 12 loose balls while Snider won 14 of 22 face-offs.
The Roughnecks outshot the Stealth 71-56 in the victory.
Calgary returns to the Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday, February 18 for a 7:00 p.m. matchup against provincial rivals the Edmonton Rush. Saturday's game will be broadcast live on Sportsnet West and Pacific starting at 7:00 p.m. MST.
