OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Lancers, in conjunction with the United States Hockey League (USHL), are pleased to announce that Max Vallis has been named co-CCM USHL Offensive Player of the Week for Week 16 of the 2011-2012 season. Vallis shares the honor alongside Waterloo's Taylor Cammarata.

A native of Santa Clara, California, Vallis recorded four goals and a +5 rating in a pair of Lancers victories this past weekend. First, Vallis recorded his second hat trick (three goals) of the season, and Omaha's fifth as a team, Friday in an 8-5 win at the Sioux Falls Stampede. The first-year Lancers forward scored on all three of his shots and registered a game-high +3 rating in notching his sixth multi-point game this season. Vallis then closed the weekend with a goal and a +2 rating in Omaha's 6-3 victory at the Lincoln Stars on Saturday.

After his productive weekend, Vallis now ranks fifth among all Lancers in scoring this season with 18 points and is third among all Omaha skaters with 10 goals.

Omaha (20-10-2, 42 pts.) returns to action Friday evening when the Lancers return to the Omaha Civic Auditorium for a 7:05 pm showdown with the Sioux City Musketeers. Tickets for Friday's game are available for purchase at the Century Link Center (formerly Qwest Center) Box Office Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM, at the Omaha Civic Auditorium Box Office Friday morning beginning at 10 AM and through Ticketmaster.
