MEMPHIS, TN - The Isotopes erased an early two-run deficit to beat the Redbirds 7-3 Tuesday night at AutoZone Park.

Albuquerque was first to put a run on the board with an RBI-double by Russ Mitchell in the first inning. Nick Stavinoha's base hit to left field plated Shane Robinson and a two-run double from Tyler Greene put the ‘Birds on top with a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the frame.

The ‘Topes tied it up 3-3 in the second before jumping on Memphis starter Maikel Cleto for four more runs in the top of the third. Mitchell started the rally with a solo homer to left-center field. Jamie Hoffmann's single and two consecutive walks from Cleto loaded the bases, while Damaso Espino drew a third walk to send home another run. An error by ‘Birds third baseman Matt Carpenter allowed the last two Isotopes runs to score.

Cleto took the loss, giving up seven runs, six earned, on seven hits and four walks while fanning five. Albuquerque starter Mike Parisi allowed three runs on four hits across his six innings of work, walking three and striking out five for his sixth win.
