Bisons Announce Plans for Annual Fan Appreciation Night

The Buffalo Bisons today announced their planned events for the annual FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT, presented by Cintas, on Thursday, September 1 against the Syracuse Chiefs (6:05 p.m.).

The final regular season home game of each season has traditionally been the Bisons opportunity to thank their fans for all their great support through another exciting season of baseball and fun at Coca-Cola Field.

There will be a 2012 SCHEDULE POSTER GIVEAWAY to the first 10,000 fans through the gates (open at 5:00 p.m.). The Bisons will also present SPECIAL GIVEAWAYS EVERY HALF INNING during the Bisons contest against the Chiefs to lucky seats, lucky rows or even lucky sections of seats.

Prior to the game, the team will present its YEARLY PLAYER AWARDS, including the Stan Barron Most Valuable Player, the Warren Spahn Most Valuable Pitcher and the Joe Byron Fan of the Year. Pre-game ceremonies will conclude with Frontier SKYDIVERS jumping into Coca-Cola Field just prior to the singing of the Star Spangled Banner.

The in-game entertainment will feature the Washington Nationals' 'RACING PRESIDENTS.' George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abe Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt will join Chicken Wing, Bleu Cheese and Celery for some on-field fun. The Racing Presidents will also be at the gates pre-game to great fans and in the concourse during the contest.

The night will end with a spectacular post game FIREWORKS DISPLAY.
