Zebulon, NC --- The Cincinnati Reds have made a pair of roster moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's game with the Mississippi Braves.
OF David Cook has been promoted to Triple-A Louisville, while IF Cody Puckett has been activated from the disabled list. Puckett returns to the Mudcats for the first time since late June when a pitch fractured his right wrist. Cook joins a Louisville club short an outfielder with the promotion of former Southern League MVP Dave Sappelt to the major leagues. Sappelt picked up his first major league hit today at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs.
