RedHawks Continue Series vs. Omaha-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks continue a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers tonight at 7:05 p.m. with game three at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...The RedHawks are riding a five-game winning streak, tied for the longest OKC win streak in 2011...The RedHawks won five straight May 2-6, with four against Nashville and one against Omaha...The RedHawks lead the season series against the Storm Chasers 6-4...The current series is the first between the teams at RedHawks Field at Bricktown, as all of the first eight were played at Werner Park in Papillion, Neb....Oklahoma City enters Thursday 12.5 games back of first place Round Rock in the American Southern division, and 3.0 games behind third place New Orleans...Omaha comes into tonight's game in first place in the American Northern division, 0.5 games ahead of second place Memphis...

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- RedHawks starter Gustavo Chacin (26G, 8GS, 3-5, 4.76) makes his ninth consecutive start tonight...In 18 relief appearances, Chacin was 1-1 with a 4.64 ERA...In 8 starts, Chacin is 2-4 with a 4.83 ERA...Chacin moved into the starting rotation on May 28, flipping roles with reliever Douglas Arguello...Chacin has one relief appearance against Omaha on May 8, giving up three earned runs on four hits in one inning...Omaha starter Luis Mendoza (23G, 8GS, 5-3, 2.74) has made six consecutive starts, posting a 3-0 record in that time with five quality starts...His ERA has been trimmed from 4.07 to the current 2.74 over the last six starts...In two appearances against OKC, with one start, Mendoza has allowed four runs, one earned run, and 12 hits over 8.0 total innings for a 1.13 ERA...

Last Game: July 8- Oklahoma City 4, Omaha Storm Chasers 3-- The RedHawks scored the game-tying run in the eighth inning and won the game with a Tommy Manzella sacrifice fly in the ninth inning for a 4-3 win before 6,163 Friday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...Robinson Cancel drove in the game-tying run in the eighth inning with a single...RedHawks starter Sergio Perez allowed one run and six hits in six innings, but did not factor in the decision...Sammy Gervacio (2-0) dealt a hitless inning for the winning decision, while Robinson Tejeda (0-3) allowed one run and three hits in 1.1 innings in the loss...The teams combined for 19 hits, 18 of which were singles...Omaha's Lorenzo Cain hit a fourth inning home run for the only extra base hit in the game for either side...

Shuck Selected as PCL All-Star-- With the promotion of PCL All-Star pitcher David Carpenter to Houston, the Pacific Coast League has selected outfielder J.B. Shuck to the Pacific Coast League All-Star Game in Salt Lake City...The game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday July 13...The All-Star nod is Shuck's third as a professional (2010-Texas League; 2008-New York-Penn League)...

Cancel Clutch Hitting-- Robinson Cancel knocked in the game-tying run in the eighth inning last night, moving OKC back to a 3-3 deadlock en route to a 4-3 win...Cancel hit the game-winning home run in the eighth inning on Thursday and recorded a walk-off RBI single on Tuesday against Iowa...Overall in 2011 Cancel has a .310 (9x29) average in the sixth inning, .389 (7x18) in the seventh and .435 (10x23) in the eighth inning...Cancel is also the best the RedHawks have to offer with runners in scoring position, posting a .381 (24x63) average...

Durango Making Impression-- Outfielder Luis Durango was recently claimed off waivers by the Astros from the San Diego Padres and optioned to OKC... In eight games with the RedHawks, Durango is batting .348 (8x23)...In addition, Durango has collected eight walks against only two strikeouts...When on-base, Durango has 7 stolen bases in 9 attempts...
