RedHawks Announce Transactions

Oklahoma City Comets News Release

Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Oklahoma City RedHawks have made the following transactions on Saturday July 9:

* C J.R. Towles has been optioned to Oklahoma City and has reported. Towles is in the lineup at catcher, batting sixth.

* C Brian Esposito has been placed on the disabled list retroactive to July 8.

* P Wesley Wright has been activated from the temporary inactive list.

The RedHawks have 24 active players, the league maximum, with four players on the disabled list.
