BOX SCORE
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (July 6, 2011) -- Starting pitcher Spencer Arroyo held the Greensboro Grasshoppers off the scoreboard through the first six innings giving the Kannapolis Intimidators offense time to open an eight-run lead en route to an 8-2 victory at NewBridge Bank Park on Wednesday afternoon. The Intimidators swept the series, outscoring the Grasshoppers 31-8 over three games, and have now won four straight for the first time since the All-Star break.

Black finished the game 4- for-5 with an RBI while Semien's 3-for-5 performance wrapped up a series that saw him hit .533 (8-15) with four RBI, four runs scored and three extra-base hits.
The Intimidators scored in five straight innings, tacking on a run Kenny Gilbert sacrifice fly in the fourth and a Brady Shoemaker RBI- single in the fifth.
