Salcedo Named Player of the Week

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves announce that infielder Edward Salcedo has been named as the South Atlantic League Player of the Week for June 27th - July 3rd. During that span, Salcedo hit .407 in seven games with five doubles, two home runs, six RBI, and nine runs scored. He is the second Rome Braves player this season to be selected as the SAL Player of the Week. Jakob Dalfonso received the honor for the week ending May 29th.

The Braves continue their road trip tonight in Savannah. The team returns home on tomorrow June 7th to begin a four game home stand. For ticket information call the Rome Braves ticket office at 706-378-5144 or purchase tickets online at wwww.romebraves.com.
