"Mallards in Game" to Bring Enlightened Fan Experience

June 29, 2011 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Madison Mallards News Release

For the past ten years, the Madison Mallards have focused on bringing a fun and unique fan experience to the "Duck Pond." Now in their eleventh season of existence, the Mallards are excited to introduce "Mallards In Game," part of a one-of-a-kind partnership with FanConnet.

"Mallards In Game" is a mobile, interactive website that allows fans to order concessions, play mini-games and share photos during the game from any device connected to the internet (i.e. phones, iTouch, iPad).

While attending any Mallards' game at the "new Duck Pond," all fans need to do is log on to mallardsingame.com and create a free, user-friendly account to text in food orders and participate in other fun activities around the ballpark. Fans will also be able to capture their fan experience through photos, which will be shown on the Pepsi Max video board in left-center field.

Fans who do utilize the texting for concessions feature can pick up their order at the Mallards Zip Line, located on the first base side of the main concession stand.

Mini-games are also available for fan enjoyment. Games can be played to give fans a chance to earn points and win great prizes.

FanConnet, which stands for "Fan Connection Network," eliminates the long lines and prevents fans from missing any game action that results from getting concessions, adding to the new-and-improved operations of Mallards' baseball. Standard wireless charges apply when using "Mallards In Game."

If there are any questions or comments about "Mallards In Game" or the FanConnet program, please visit the fan services booth located in the Diamond Center Courtyard.

The Madison Mallards are members of the 16-team summer collegiate Northwoods League. Great seats remain for all games! Fans can purchase tickets one of three ways: 1) online, 2) over the phone by calling the ticket office at 608.316.DUCK (3825), or 3) in-person at the "Duck Pond." Group tickets, including hospitality areas perfect for company outings are on sale as well.
