Hens to Host 7th Annual Substance Abuse Prevention Program

The Toledo Mud Hens, in partnership with the Toledo Police Department and the Lucas County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a Drug Education Program for local underprivileged youth before their Noon game on Monday, June 27.
Representatives from all the organizations, including Mud Hen Players, will be speaking about the importance of staying drug, alcohol and tobacco free. About 900 kids will take part in this program, which begins at 10am, and attend the game that follows. All kids will be asked to recite a pledge to remain drug, alcohol and tobacco free. A second program will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd.
