ATTENDANCE TOTAL: The all-time season attendance record for professional baseball in Tulsa was broken on August 20 when the Jannasch Family of Broken Arrow entered ONEOK Field. With one homestand remaining, total attendance for the 2010 season was 367,988. The Drillers need to average 4,574 fans for each of the final seven openings to top the 400,000 mark.

NATURALLY TOUGH: Northwest Arkansas has compiled the best record in the Texas League this season, and the Drillers have struggled in previous meetings with the Naturals. In 22 games this year, Tulsa is only 7-15 against Northwest Arkansas. However, the Drillers have won 5 of the 11 meetings at ONEOK Field.

ROSARIO DEPARTS: Injured catcher Wilin Rosario has left the Drillers to undergo season-ending knee surgery in Denver, Colorado. Rosario was hurt during a game at Northwest Arkansas on August 3. The early end to his season means he will finish the year with a .285 batting average, 19 home runs and 52 runs batted in.

THAT WAS OFFENSIVE: The previous homestand (August 18-23) accounted for the best offensive output at ONEOK Field this season for the Drillers. As a team, Tulsa batted .319 in the six games versus Midland and Frisco. Leading the way was outfielder Charlie Blackmon who hit safely in all six games. He finished the stand with 12 hits, including 5 for extra-bases, and a .462 batting average.

TURNING UP THE HEAT: As a starting pitcher, Bruce Billings recorded 55 strikeouts in 79.1 innings for an average of 6.2 strikeouts per 9 innings. Since moving to the bullpen, he has more than doubled that number with 34 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched for an average of 12.6 strikeouts for every nine innings.
