Naturals Release 2011 Schedule

SPRINGDALE, AR- The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are pleased to announce the release of their 2011 Texas League Schedule.

The Naturals will open their third season at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, April 7th vs. the San Antonio Missions. It will be the second consecutive season that the Naturals have opened a season at home. The final home game will be on Friday, September 2nd, and the Naturals will wrap up the 2011 regular season with a three-game series on the road in Tulsa.

The 2011, 70-home game schedule is highlighted by a strong weekend slate of 37 games falling on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday dates. The schedule will see the Naturals face off 16 times against their two biggest rivals: the in-state Arkansas Travelers from North Little Rock (Los Angeles Angels), and the Springfield Cardinals (St. Louis). Each will visit Arvest Ballpark four times in 2010, and at least two series against each team will be played on weekends. Additionally, the Naturals have increased the number of home weekend games over last season.

2011 will feature three School Kids Day Games (May 4th, May 10th, and May 23 rd). The Naturals will also have a summer weekday matinee game on June 15th . Special group programs are available for summer camps and youth groups for those games. In addition, our group areas such as the Budweiser Bullpen Café and Wendy's Home Plate Party Deck as well as luxury suite rentals are also available on all day games for companies looking to do a daytime corporate outing.

Next season's Texas League All-Star game will be Wednesday, June 29th at Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium, home of the San Antonio Missions.

The Naturals will be home at Arvest Ballpark for their popular Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th, both games against Corpus Christi.

Game times will remain the same as the 2010 season; 7:00 P.M. for night games on Mondays through Saturdays, 2:00 P.M. for Sunday games in April and May, and 6:00 P.M. for Sunday games in June, July, and August. A printable PDF copy of the schedule along with game times is available will be available on the Naturals' official website, www.nwanaturals.com. Game times are subject to change.

Season tickets for the 2011 season are now on sale. Information on ticket plans and group information will be available in the coming weeks. Details regarding weekday promotions, giveaway nights, and the 2011 promotional calendar will be available in late February 2011.
