Hot Rods Holding Pair of Fundraisers Next Week

Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, announced they will hold fundraisers to benefit two charitable efforts next week. On Wednesday, July 21, and Thursday, July 22, the team will hold a pair of games with proceeds benefitting the Stuff the Bus Campaign in Bowling Green and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
The first benefit is on Wednesday, July 21, as the Hot Rods open a three-game series with the Quad Cities River Bandits (St. Louis Cardinals) at 7:05 PM. Fans can use the promotional code "BUS" to purchase tickets for the game on the team's website, www.bghotrods.com. $3 from each $10 box seat purchased using the code "BUS" will be donated to Stuff the Bus, which provides classroom supplies to schools in South Central Kentucky. Tony Rose, from SAM 100.7 FM, will throw out the first pitch before he climbs aboard the bus and waits for donations of school supplies to "stuff the bus' later next week.
On Thursday, July 22, ticket sales will benefit the St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway. $3 of each $10 box seat purchased using the promotional code "DREAMHOME" will go to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Local St. Jude's patients will be at the game to throw out a first pitch while St. Jude Dream Home® representatives will sell raffle tickets for this year's Dream Home® Giveaway, which takes place on August 29 during the St. Jude television special on WBKO.

The Hot Rods return home to begin a six-game home stand on Wednesday, July 21, against Western Division opponents Quad Cities (St. Louis Cardinals) and Cedar Rapids (Los Angeles Angels). Wednesday night is Business at the Ballpark Night featuring promotional displays from local businesses. The home stand includes another Thirsty Thursday with All Hit WUHU 107 and Beaver 96.7 FM, Friday Night Fireworks courtesy of WBKO, and Faith and Family Night presented by Christian Family Radio.
