Bulls Select Czech Forward Vojtek Butor in CHL Import Draft

The Belleville Bulls selected centre Vojtek Butor in the second round of the 2010 CHL Import Draft.

The 6'3 native of Kladno, Czech Republic is eligible for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Butor split last season between HC Kladno U18 and HC Kladno U20 where he scored 16 goals while adding 29 assists and 62 penalty minutes in 45 games played.

He also represented the Czech Republic at the 2010 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge where he recorded a goal and an assist in five games played.

"Vojtek is a big, rangy centre who has represented his country in the past and is hopeful to do so again at the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka U18 Tournament in August" commented Bulls General Manager and Head Coach George Burnett.

"He is a skilled player with good skating ability that has a lot of potential."
