Burlington Bees News Release

Burlington, IA - The scheduled final game of a three-game series between the Burlington Bees and Clinton LumberKings was postponed on Thursday night at Community Field. The grounds were deemed too wet for play after taking a day's worth of showers.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday at Clinton's Alliant Energy Field. The two teams do not meet again in the first half in Burlington, necessitating the change of venue.

The Bees open an eight-game road trip tomorrow night in Wisconsin with the first of four games against the Timber Rattlers. First pitch will be delivered at 6:35, and Nick Devlin will go on the air with the Casebine Community Credit Union Pregame Show at 6:15.
