Great Lakes Loons News Release
The Great Lakes Loons will be holding auditions to fill the position of on-field emcee during Loons home games for the 2010 season. The role of the emcee is to entertain fans between innings by hosting on-field contests and enhancing the overall entertainment experience at Dow Diamond.
"The Great Lakes Loons provide some of the best family entertainment in the Great Lakes Bay Region," said Chris Mundhenk, Loons Vice-President of Marketing and Entertainment. "Whether it's officiating a human burger-building contest or hosting on-field trivia, the on-field emcee is a key component to the entertainment experience at Loons games. Our emcee will wear many hats-and probably many costumes, too."
Interested applicants should send their resume to Loons Director of Promotions, Linda Uliano, at luliano@loons.com. Qualified candidates should be outgoing, work well in a fast-paced team environment and be able to captivate thousands of people at a time. Auditions will be conducted with the Loons promotional staff during the week of May 24-28. Additional auditions may take place at a later date as well.
The Great Lakes Loons are the fourth-year Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League. For more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
