One night after blanking Norfolk, the tables were turned as the Tides hit three homers, beating Michael Bowden and Pawtucket, 5-2. Pawtucket (19-21) managed just two runs on 6 hits. Bubba Bell had a pair of singles and a grounder that scored a run in the ninth , Ryan Khoury doubled, Lars Anderson doubled and singled, and Niuman Romero singled to knock in the other PawSox score.

Bowden (1-2) worked 7 innings, but could not overcome the three home runs he surrendered. Scott Moore hit a two run shot in the second inning and a solo homer in the sixth. In the third, Justin Turner added a two run job of his own. Norfolk starter Chris Tillman (4-4) was never really in any sort of trouble. Pedro Viola allowed the only PawSox run.

The series will continue on Thursday night at 7:15 p.m. Fabio Castro (2-2, 6.56) will face Jake Arrietta (3-2, 2.20).
