
PawSox Come up Short against Gwinnett

Maybe the PawSox miss Richmond, VA.
Since the Atlanta Braves moved their Triple-A affiliate from Richmond to Gwinnett County, GA, the PawSox have not been able to beat the Braves in their new home. Pawtucket fell to 0-7 at Coolray Field on Monday night with a 4-2 loss to the G-Braves.
James Parr (2-2) allowed 2 ER in 6.2 IP to earn the win for Gwinnett. Craig Kimbrel recorded the final 7 outs for his 6th save in as many chances.
Freddie Freeman drove in a pair of runs for the Braves with a double and sacrifice fly.
Michael Bowden (0-1) allowed 3 ER in 4.2 IP to take the loss for Pawtucket. Bubba Bell drove in both PawSox runs with a 7th inning double. Lars Anderson and Jorge Jimenez finished with two hits apiece for Pawtucket.
The PawSox will try to avoid a 4-game sweep on Tuesday night at 7:05. The starting pitchers will be Randor Bierd (2-2, 4.74) for Pawtucket and Chris Resop (2-1, 1.40) for Gwinnett.
