Portland Sea Dogs News Release
Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs return to Hadlock fresh off the heels of a seven-game road trip that took them to Trenton and Binghamton. The second homestand of the 2010 season begins on Friday, April 30th at 6:00 PM against the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins). The homestand will run from April 30th through May 6th , as the Cats will be in town for three games before the Sea Dogs welcome the Reading Phillies (Phillies) to Hadlock for a four-game set. Promotions: For the first time of the 2010 season, the Portland Sea Dogs will have a Fireworks display following the game. The Fireworks are made possible by U.S. Cellular and WJBQ. Friday will also be a Cumberland County Federal Credit Union Teacher's Night.

Promotions: "Bark in the Park"- Bring your dog to the ballpark and enjoy a game with the WHOLE family. "Bark in the Park" is a fundraiser for the Planet Dog Foundation. You must purchase a ticket for your dog through Planet Dog. Dogs without a ticket purchased through Planet Dog will not be admitted. Most Improved Student Day, the Portland Sea Dogs and NextGen College Investing College plan honor students from around Maine who have been selected 'Most Improved' by their teachers

Promotions: Hometown Heroes, the Portland Sea Dogs will honor hometown heroes from throughout the state including various police officers and fire fighters in a pre-game ceremony. The Portland Fire Department will have a fire truck on display in front of the ballpark.
