Barrie Colts News Release
Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts have announced today that they have traded forward Chris DeSousa to the London Knights for forward Zac Rinaldo.
DeSousa was acquired yesterday as part of a five-player deal with the Niagara IceDogs, but he hasn't played a game in the OHL since November 29th. Barrie also sends London a conditional third round pick in 2013 in exchange for left-winger Zac Rinaldo.
Rinaldo is joining his third team, and is coming off his best season in the OHL. He split 2008-09 with the Majors and Knights and posted ten goals and 20 assists for 30 points.
The Hamilton native was selected 178th overall in the sixth round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
