Marlies Loan Goaltender Andrew Engelage To Reading

Jeff Jackson, general manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has loaned goaltender Andrew Engelage to their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals.
Engelage, 21, made his first career AHL start for the Marlies on October 16 in a 5-2 loss in Rochester against the Americans. Last season, the Oshawa, Ontario native helped guide the Windsor Spitfires to a Memorial Cup Championship with a record of 46-4-1 with a 2.35 goals-against average and 0.914 save percentage. In 20 postseason games, the 6'5, 206-pound goaltender registered a 2.86 goals-against average and 0.908 save percentage.
The Marlies begin their six game road trip on Friday night when they travel to Cleveland to take on the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, at the Quicken Loans Arena at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies regular season games on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
