The HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club travels to New England this week, beginning a four-game trip in Lowell Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. The BEARS then will face Portland, Manchester and Providence to round out a four games in five nights stretch.

Big numbers for Bouchard: For the second consecutive week, right wing Francois Bouchard is HERSHEY'S nominee for American Hockey League player of the week honors. The Sherbrooke, Quebec native picked up seven points in just two games this past weekend, including a four-point effort Friday in Hartford against the Wolf Pack.

Cold hard Cash: The BEARS have won three straight games heading into Wednesday's road game at Lowell, and veteran goaltender Jason Bacashihua has been the winning goaltender in all three. Bacashihua has a goals against average of 1.00 heading into the new week, and also earned his first shutout in a HERSHEY sweater this past Friday in Hartford.

Practice schedule: HERSHEY will skate at GIANT Center Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. for practice. The players and coaches are available for interviews after practice both days, and will be unavailable after Tuesday until the team returns from its New England road trip next week.

Roster moves:HERSHEY recalled goaltender Braden Holtby from South Carolina on Saturday, with Michal Neuvirth sidelined with a lower body injury. The BEARS also signed center Gavin Morgan on Saturday to a player tryout contract. Morgan, who returned to Reading (ECHL) Sunday, had not played a game for the Chocolate and White since the 2003-04 season.

Washington update: The Capitals hit the road Wednesday to face the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center in Newark, prior to a date in south Florida against the Panthers Friday night. The two teams will then quickly fly to Washington for a game Saturday at Verizon Center to complete a home-and-home series.
