
Chivas USA and San Luis to Practice Friday Morning at The Home Depot Center

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, June 25, 2009) - Chivas USA of Major League Soccer and San Luis of the Mexican First Division will hold their final training sessions Friday morning ahead of Saturday's decisive SuperLiga 2009 match. Chivas USA trains on Field 6 at The Home Depot Center, while San Luis trains on Field 3. Both teams' practice sessions are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. PT.
Following practice, players and coaches from each team will be available for interviews : San Luis, including new head coach Juan Antonio Luna and Orange County native and U.S. Olympian Michael Orozco will available starting at 11:00 a.m., while Chivas USA, including head coach Preki and forward Maykel Galindo, will be available starting at 11:30 a.m.
Saturday's SuperLiga game will be decisive for both teams, with Chivas USA needing to beat San Luis by two goals, coupled with a Chicago Fire victory over Tigres UANL, in order to advance to the semifinal of the tournament. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center.
