Tacoma rallies past Sacramento

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Tacoma scored five runs in the final two innings to rally past Sacramento for a 6-4 victory Thursday night at Raley Field. Mike Morse and Mike Carp each had RBI singles in the top of the ninth to give the Rainiers a 6-4 lead. Sacramento took a 3-1 lead in the fourth on a Danny Putnam homer, and extended the lead to 4-1 in the sixth on a Travis Buck solo blast. But River Cats reliever Henry Rodriguez allowed three runs in the eighth and Jay Marshall took the loss allowing both runs in the ninth. Tacoma has now won four of five games at Raley Field this season, having taken three of four against the River Cats on the season's opening weekend.
