
Six Days of "Fun is Good" Set at The Joe

CHARLESTON, SC - After nine days away from the Lowcountry, the RiverDogs will battle a pair of Georgia teams and begin a six-game homestand as the Rome Braves, an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, and the Augusta GreenJackets, an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will each battle three-game sets against Charleston. Fans will again enjoy endless fun and excitement throughout the six days at beautiful Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.
The homestand begins with a 2009 Charleston RiverDogs baseball card trade-away and concludes with the RiverDogs' Salute to the "G" String. Sandwiched between them are a Family Sunday, "Dogs with a Cause," BINGO at the ballpark and Wild Wednesday's All-U-Can-Eat promotion. During the week Charleston youth between the ages of 6-13 can experience playing at The Joe and learning baseball from the pros for three days at the Charleston RiverDogs Baseball Camp starting Tuesday, June 9. Fans can enjoy a dollar off their ticket also help out local schools by bringing in school supplies to Riley Park on Wednesday, June 10th as Beazer Homes is teaming up with Teacher's Supply Closet for Beazernomics.

Baseball Card Trade-Away/Stitch N Pitch Night
Come build your baseball card collection on Saturday with the RiverDogs. Fans receive free baseball cards courtesy of the US Army upon entering the gates, but there's a twist: Ten of the cards will be of the same player so it will be up to the fans to trade away their cards to complete their collection. Plus, kids can run the bases following the game. Saturday is also Stitch N Pitch Night as the RiverDogs and local spinners combine knitting and baseball all evening. The Baseball Card Trade-away / Stitch N Pitch are presented by The US Army and My TV Charleston.
Family Sunday - Free Parking & Kids 12 and Under Eat Free - Finest vs. Bravest Charity Softball Game
Sundays are packed with fun for all, from face painting and inflatables on the concourse to Reading with the RiverDogs. Plus, the players and Charlie T. RiverDogs will sign autographs after the game. There's also free parking and kids 12 and under eat free. Family Sunday is presented by Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission and Star 99.7 FM. Come early for the 2nd Annual Finest vs. Bravest charity softball game which pits the Charleston Police Department against the Fire Department for the city's bragging rights. The gates open at 1 pm with the softball game starting at 1:15. One ticket gets you in to both the softball game AND the RiverDogs game. All proceeds benefit the Carolina Children's Charity.
"Dogs with a Cause" Night featuring the People Against Rape
Every Monday at The Joe is a "Dogs With a Cause" Night where the RiverDogs team with a local non-profit organization. On Monday, People Against Rape will raise money and awareness for their cause and it is presented by 101.7 Chuck FM. Bring your neighbor to The Joe as part of Tom McQueeney's State Farm Good Neighbor Monday as neighbors can purchase two-for-one admission to the night's game with identification at the box office. One lucky neighbor will receive a pair of binoculars courtesy of Tom McQueeney State Farm Insurance.
BINGO in the Ballpark and Bi-Lo Two-For-Tuesdays
Fans can double their fun as every Tuesday is BI-LO Two-For-Tuesday. Fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one, and check out our two-for-one food and drink specials in the Ashley View Pub. This Tuesday is also BINGO at the Ballpark, as fans receive special BINGO cards when entering the gates to play BINGO ... RiverDogs style. Two-For-Tuesday / BINGO at the Ballpark are presented by Bi-Lo, 98X and the CW.
Wild Wednesday All-U-Can-Eat Special - Beazer Homes Beazernomics w/ Teacher's Supply Closet
Fans entering the gates for Wednesday's RiverDogs game against the Augusta GreenJackets can enjoy an All-U-Can-Eat Wild Wednesday. Add $20 to your ticket price and enjoy all-you-can eat and drink menu items all game long. All-You-Can-Eat Wild Wednesday is presented by Y 102.5 FM. Enjoy Beazernomics as fans can enjoy $1 off admission with a school supply donation at the RiverDogs Box Office to the Teacher's Supply Closet courtesy of Beazer Homes.
Salute to the "G" String/Thirsty Thursday
Thursday is the RiverDogs' Salute to the "G" String as select fans receive a guitar g-string. What were you expecting guys? Every Thursday is a Thirsty Thursday offering food and drink specials for a dollar at the Ashley View Pub. Thirsty Thursday / Salute to the G-String is presented by 95 SX.
