Relay for Life provides us with an opportunity to keep our pledge to be active, supportive members of this community."

The central part of the Hot Rods fundraiser for Relay for Life is the silent auction which will be held during Thursday night's game. Fans will be able to bid on a variety of autographed items, from baseballs to game-used bats, including memorabilia signed by 2008 No. 1 draft pick Tim Beckham. Also up for auction will be a plethora of Hot Rods experiences, including a nightly suite rental and an invitation to join the pre-game managers meeting and line-up exchange on the field before a game.

Bidding will start once the gates open at Bowling Green Ballpark on Thursday night. Gates open at 5:30 PM for full and half-season ticket holders, 6 PM for the general public. Bidding will continue through the conclusion of the seventh inning of that night's game.

Tickets to Thursday night's game are just $5 and $10, with a portion of online sales for the game being added to the donation for Relay for Life. To order tickets and receive more information, fans can visit www.bghotrods.com or call the Hot Rods main office at (270) 901-2121.
