
Orbit And 'Topes Host Toy Drive As Part Of Next Homestand

The Albuquerque Isotopes return after a brief four-game road trip to begin a homestand against the New Orleans Zephyrs, Triple-A affiliate of the Florida Marlins. Fans coming to Isotopes Park will experience another series of fun-filled promotions including T-Shirt Night, a Zooperstars! appearance, a special Mother's Day Carnation Giveaway, Orbit's Birthday Bash, and a School Day Matinee. In celebration of Orbit's birthday on Sunday, fans are invited to bring a new unopened toy that Orbit will take to Carrie Tingley Hospital for the children to enjoy. There will be bins set up at each gate for people to deliver their presents. No wrapping necessary!

Come and enjoy Harry Canary and the ever-popular Zooperstars! return to Isotopes Park on Saturday, May 3 for the first of two appearances to entertain fans with their hilarious theatrics. The event is presented by Mark's Sunshine GMC.
MOTHER'S DAY CARNATION GIVEAWAY COURTESY OF SAVON AND ORBIT'S BIRTHDAY BASH
On Sunday, May 10, the first 1,000 Moms will receive a carnation courtesy of Savon Cash and Carry Florists. Also, several of Orbit's mascot friends will be on hand to help him celebrate his birthday. The crowd will sing Happy Birthday to Orbit during the game and a cake will be presented to him on the field. SCHOOL DAY MATINEE
Albuquerque's homestand finale on Monday, May 11 will have a youthful spirit in the crowd, as area school kids will get to enjoy a break from their studies and enjoy a day at Isotopes Park. Included in their ticket price they will receive a sack lunch and watch Albuquerque Police and Fire Departments give various safety demonstrations.
