Miller Park Roof To Open As Summer-Like Temps Climb

MILWAUKEE, WI - After Opening Day, perhaps the best reminder that summer is coming in Wisconsin is the first time each year that Miller Park opens to host a game in the warm air. That annual occasion is scheduled to occur tomorrow as the "Border Battle," featuring the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers against the Peoria Chiefs, takes place at 7 p.m.

Two of the Brewers top prospects are scheduled to pitch in tomorrow's game. RHP Wily Peralta (0-0, 1.00) will start, and will be followed by RHP Cody Adams (0-1, 4.50). Peralta was signed as a non-drafted free agent in November of 2005 and was rated as the 16th best Pioneer League Prospect in 2008 by Baseball America. Adams was selected by the Brewers in the second round (62nd overall pick) of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft. In addition, the Timber Rattlers feature the Brewers first round pick (16th overall) from 2008, Brett Lawrie, and second round pick (54th overall), Cutter Dykstra.
