Falcons Recall Paukovich And Hunt From Stockton

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have recalled forwards Geoff Paukovich and Garet Hunt from their ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder.

Paukovich has spent the majority of the 2008-09 season with the Falcons collecting one goal and three assists for four points and 34 penalty minutes in 27 games with Springfield. In six games with the Thunder, he has registered one goal and four penalty minutes.

This will be Hunt's first regular season recall to Springfield after playing in the preseason with the Falcons. Hunt has totaled five goals and nine assists for 14 points and a team-leading 186 penalty minutes in 42 games with Stockton this year. The Maple Ridge, British Columbia native is in his first pro season after spending four years with the Western Hockey League's Vancouver Giants from 2004-2008.

The Falcons return to action this weekend when they host three games in three days at the MassMutual Center. Springfield hosts the Lowell Devils on Friday starting at 7:30 pm, the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday starting at 7:00 pm and the Binghamton Senators on Sunday starting at 5:00 pm.
