
FC Dallas signs midfielder Jamie Watson

FRISCO, Texas (Friday, August 1, 2008) - FC Dallas today signed midfielder and Dallas-area native Jamie Watson. Per team and league policy, terms were not disclosed.
The 22-year-old Watson spent the past three seasons with Real Salt Lake, where he scored two goals and added one assist in 38 regular season games. He was selected by RSL with the 13th overall selection in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft.
A graduate of Coppell High School, Watson has been a guest player for FC Dallas in three Reserve Division games this season. In 2007, he also accompanied the team as a guest player on a post-season trip to Trinidad and Tobago for exhibition games against all-star teams from the T&T Pro League.
Watson will occupy a space on the team's Developmental Roster.
