Myrtle Beach Pelicans News Release
MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Myrtle Beach Pelicans playoff tickets are on sale now for the 2008 post-season. The Pelicans will hold home-field advantage in the divisional round of the playoffs, and could potentially host five post-season games at BB&T Coastal Field.
The Pelicans will end the longest current playoff drought in the Carolina League when they open the post-season on Wednesday, September 3rd at BB&T Coastal Field against either the second half Southern Division champion or a wild card entrant should the Pelicans win the second half title as well.
Ticket prices for the entire slate of post-season games will remain unchanged from the 2008 regular season and are as follows: Field Box - $9.00; Reserved Box - $8.00; Grand Stand Reserved - $7.00; Land Shark Landing - $7.00. Tickets may be purchased individually for the five potential games or as part of a special Pelicans post-season package which guarantees fans the same seat for all five contests. Should any of the games become unnecessary or the Pelicans fail to advance to the Mills Cup Championship series, unused seats can be used at face-value for any 2009 ticket purchase.
As in the regular season, the Pelicans will also offer a wide-array of group seating options to take in the title run. BB&T Coastal Field Suites will be available to the public as well as picnics, birthday parties and other group opportunities.
