Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
The Texas League will pass a milestone in attendance on Sunday afternoon. The league came into Saturday's game needing 31,981 fans to pass the 100 million mark. Attendance figures have been recorded for Texas League contests dating back to 1922, although the league traces its origins back to 1888.
After 25,190 fans watched Texas League action on Saturday night, the loop needed 6,791 fans to reach the mark, and will not quite reach that mark with Midland's game at Tulsa which began earlier Sunday afternoon, meaning that a Naturals fan is likely to be the league's 100 millionth fan.
Through Saturday's game, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, in their inaugural season, had contributed 125,536 fans to that attendance total.
