The Buffalo Bisons are pleased to announce that they have hired WBEN Newsradio 930 News Director Monica Wilson as a public address announcer for the 2008 season. She becomes the first female PA announcer in the 123-year history of the Buffalo Bisons.

"We're very pleased to bring such a well-respected voice and talent to our production of Buffalo Bisons home game," said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manger of the Buffalo Bisons. "With all the accomplishments she's already had in the Western New York media, Monica is an All-Star addition to our fan-friendly ballpark experience."

"I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the outstanding crew at the Bisons and indulging my passion for sun, fun and food at the best place to spend a summer day in Buffalo," said Wilson.
