
Dragons Add Infielder Prior To Monday's Home Opener

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Dragons announced today that catcher Tony Esquer has been promoted to the Sarasota Reds of the Florida State League. Esquer has been replaced on the Dragons roster by infielder Jake Kahaulelio. Kahaulelio had been in extended spring training in Sarasota.
Kahaulelio was selected in the 20th round in 2007 by the Reds out of Oral Roberts University. He did not play professionally last summer after being drafted.
Esquer had appeared in one game with the Dragons, going 0 for 3. He spent most of the 2007 season with Dayton, batting .217 in 52 games.
