
Seattle's Mouhamed Sene Assigned to D-League's Idaho Stampede

NEW YORK, NY - April 3, 2008 - The Seattle SuperSonics today announced they have re-assigned center Mouhamed Sene to their D-League fffiliate Idaho Stampede. Sene's re-assignment is the 49th assignment of the season.
Sene, 6-11, 230-pounds, was previously assigned to Idaho (Dec. 23, 2007 to March 14) during the team's record-breaking 18 game winning streak. During the 27 games of his first assignment, he averaged 12.4 points and 9.0 rebounds. In 13 total games with the Sonics this season, Sene is averaging 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 4.8 minutes.
Drafted by the Sonics in the first round (10th overall) of the 2006 NBA Draft, Sene played 15 games for Idaho during the 2006-07 season and averaged 9.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 21.4 minutes per game.
Sene joins a playoff-bound Stampede team, that currently sits one half game behind the Western Divison-leading Los Angeles D-Fenders with a 31-14 overall record.
Sene is scheduled to play his first game in Boise on Wednesday, Dec. 26 when the Stampede host the Bakersfield Jam.
