
Ticats Add Defensive Lineman

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added import defensive lineman George Gause to the team's development roster.
Gause, a 6-5, 275-pound native of Conway, South Carolina spent time with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills as well as NFL Europe's Cologne Centurions after attending South Carolina. A three-year starter with the Gamecocks, Gause recorded 156 tackles (106 solo), six forced fumbles and 15 quarterback sacks breakups in 43 career games over the course of his NCAA career. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman team after posting 24 tackles and one sack during his first season with South Carolina.
The Ticats also announced that the team has released import wide receiver Thyron Anderson and import defensive back Montavis Pitts.
