Adirondack Phantoms News Release

(PHILADELPHIA, PA --- October 17, 2006) Global Spectrum, operators of the Wachovia Center and Wachovia Spectrum for arena owner Comcast-Spectacor, today named former Philadelphia Phantoms goalie Neil Little as the facilities' new Event Manager, according to Global Spectrum's Tim Murphy, General Manager of the Wachovia Complex.

"Neil is the ultimate 'team player' and we're very fortunate that he is joining us in our event production department," said Murphy. "Neil helped us build the Phantoms franchise as one of our franchise players. Now, he is making the transition to the front office and we are certain he will represent our company well in his new role."

In his new role, Little will work directly with the touring shows, production companies and artists, the networks and teams in making all necessary arrangements to perform or play at either Wachovia Center or Wachovia Spectrum.

Little was a member of the Phantoms, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, for eight of the franchise's first nine years. He was named as the third member of the Philadelphia Phantoms Hall of Fame on April 7, 2006.

Little, 34, holds the distinction of being the only Phantom to play for both Calder Cup championship teams. He was drafted by the Flyers in the 11th round (226th overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft and played in Hershey during the Bears last two years of serving as the Philadelphia's AHL affiliate. He moved to the Phantoms, along with the rest of Philadelphia's prospects, in 1996-97 and backstopped the club to its first Calder Cup championship a year later.

The Phantoms 1997-98 Calder Cup run featured a vintage performance from Little. Coming off the second of his two consecutive 31-win seasons for the Phantoms, Little had 15 victories in the 1998 playoffs, including an AHL playoff high three shutouts and a playoff best 2.41 goals against average. His all-time Phantom playoff totals reflect five shutouts in 52 games, with an equally impressive 2.33 GAA.

Little is a native of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. He attended RPI, graduating in l994. His professional hockey career also includes time in Helsinki, Finland, and Geneva, Switzerland.
