
Ottawa 67's and Ottawa Sports Science Centre Team Up

The brand new Ottawa 67's Sports Performance Centre will open its doors to world class and amateur athletes for the first time Wednesday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m.
Ottawa 67's Owner and Governor, Jeff Hunt and a number of Ottawa 67's players will be will be on hand at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow for the opening of the new facility at 2615 Lancaster Road, Unit 9.
This partnership will provide high performance programming for, individual athletes as well as teams and groups. The centre will cater to training elite athletes in the NHL, CFL, AHL, CIS, members of the Ottawa 67's Hockey Club as well as numerous amateur athletes.
The Ottawa 67's Sports Performance Centre will focus on sport performance training and rehabilitation. Programs are designed to concentrate on multifunction exercises that stimulate and promote 'body core' strength. The goal of the staff at the new facility is to improve the athletes' strength, agility, explosive power, first step quickness, body alignment and energy systems.
