Kitchener Rangers News Release
Kitchener, ON: Rangers Head Coach/General Manager Peter DeBoer announced this morning that the team has completed a trade with the Windsor Spitfires.
In the deal the Rangers acquire 6' 5" right winger Brian Soso and the Spitfires' 2nd round selection in the 2007 OHL Draft. In addition, the Rangers also have the option to exchange 1st round selections in the 2007 CHL Import Draft with Windsor. Heading to Windsor in the deal is centre Craig Voakes who scored 24 goals last season in Kitchener.
Last season Soso led the Spitfires in penalty minutes with 184 in 68 games. He also collected 3 goals and 12 assists. In 130 career Ontario Hockey League games Soso has compiled 233 penalty minutes.
