
Colts Make Moves to Roster

The Barrie Colts today trimmed their roster by one as they made two cuts and added a goaltender....They cut 19-year old goaltender Mike Iafrate and 19-year old forward Randy Johnston, plus they added 16-year old goalie Max Strang, who played last season for the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Junior Hockey League...Barrie's roster now stands at 29 players, including 17 forwards, 9 defensemen and 3 goaltenders as of September 12....Strang joined the club for practice Tuesday....The 6.02, 185-pound goalie joins current goalies Andrew Perugini and Michael Hutchinson...Strang last season posted a 2.95 goals against average in 19 games with Green Bay....Here is a breakdown of the Colts' roster.....Forwards (17): Bragg, Della Rovere, Frank, Hutchings, Sparre, Lovatsis, Michalsky, Jefferson, Little, Methot, Nikiforov, Tremblay, Radulay, Marcinko, Roelofsen, Lombardi, Minor...Defensemen (9): Lashoff, Plastino, Parlett, Perry, Marshall, Gottschalk, Beattie, MacArthur, van de Bospoort...Goaltenders (3): Perugini, Hutchinson, Strang
