Manchester, NH -The Bowie Baysox scored four runs on five hits in the top of the first inning on their way to an 8-4 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium on Wednesday night.
New Hampshire starter Kyle Yates (0-5) was reached for eight runs --five earned-- on 10 hits in six innings. He struck out two and walked one, becoming the first five-game loser in the Eastern League this season.
Jeff Fiorentino (2-for-5, HR, 3 RBI, 2 R) smashed a two-out, three-run homer off Yates in the top of the sixth inning, giving Bowie (13-12) an 8-3 lead after a Chip Cannon fielding error prolonged the frame.

Delgado increased the lead to 5-0 with an RBI double in the top of the third inning for Bowie.
New Hampshire (9-15) cut the deficit to 5-3 in the bottom of the fourth on a Chip Cannon (2-for-3, 3B, 2 RBI) two-run triple and an RBI single by Erik Kratz (3-for-4, 2B, RBI).
