
Zephyrs victorious against Rainiers

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs were victorious against the visiting Tacoma Rainiers on Sunday by a score of 4-1.
Z's starter Chad Durbin (3-4) got the win in seven shutout innings. Durbin only gave up two hits and struck out six batters. Durbin has now gone 16 and a third innings without allowing a run.
New Orleans got solid all-around offense, as all four RBI will driven in by a different batter. Three of the runs came in the first inning of play.
Chris Buglovsky (3-3) gets the loss for Tacoma. He went 7.1 innings and gave up four runs on six hits.
The teams end the series having tied, 2-2. The Zephyrs will begin another four-game home series against the Portland Beavers beginning Monday at 7:05 PM CT.
