
Sacramento Loses, Settles for Split with Albuquerque

West Sacramento, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats fell to the Albuquerque Isotopes, 4-1, on Sunday night at Raley Field.
The âTopes scored all of their runs in the 5th inning with the benefit of 2 River Cats errors (Charles Thomas and Brant Colamarino) as the River cats managed only one run on 5 hits for the night. Seth Etherton (7-6) took the loss on the night despite moving into first place in the PCL in ERA (2.76). Jack Cust (1-for-3, HR, RBI) led a Cats offense that was 0-for-6 on the night with runners in scoring position.
The River Cats begin a 4-game series against the Round Rock Express. RHP Juan Cruz (3-1, 2.15) takes the mound in game one against Round Rock's LHP Carlos Hernandez (3-6, 6.82).
