
Zephyrs tipped by 'Topes, 5-4

The New Orleans Zephyrs fell again to the Albuquerque Isotopes on Sunday 5-4.
New Orleans held a lead through most of the game, but a three-run eighth inning by the Isotopes gave them the eventual win. Third baseman James Shanks drove in three runs with a double to provide Albuquerque with the winning margin.
Zephyrs reliever Kevin Gryboski (1-2) picked up the loss and his second blown save of the seaon. Gryboski went two innings and gave up three runs on three hits.
Isotopes reliever Buddy Carlyle (2-0) gets the win in 2.1 innings of play, allowing one run on two hits.
Offensively, first baseman Larry Broadway went 2-4 with one RBI and a run scored to continue his strong play.
WIth the Isotopes leading the series 2-0, the teams will play on Monday in a 7:00 PM CT game.
