Argenis Reyes led off the bottom of the 10th with a walk, and Michel Abreu doubled him home to provide the winning run as the New Orleans Zephyrs topped the Memphis Redbirds on Tuesday, 3-2. Abreu also drove in another run on a sharply hit single to third base in the first inning, for his first two RBI as a Zephyr.

Chris Aguila and Jesus Feliciano added two-hit nights to pace the Zephyrs attack.

Nate Field (1-0) pitched a scoreless inning to pick up the win for New Orleans, who snapped a brief two-game losing skid. Joe Rogers (0-1) took the loss for Memphis.

Redbirds starter Joel Pineiro, making a rehabilitation start from the St. Louis Cardinals, pitched the first six innings, throwing 78 pitches. Pineiro allowed two runs on five hits and one walk and recorded five strikeouts.
