TACOMA, Washington - The New Orleans Zephyrs silenced the Tacoma Rainiers whirling their league leading tenth shutout of the season. New Orleans used four pitchers to combine on the shutout and win for the second consecutive game.

Z's starter Jacob Turner pitched six shutout innings allowing eight hits, walked two and struck-out two in the no decision. The Z's bullpen worked three no hit innings and Robert Ray earned the win. Jon Link pitched a perfect ninth inning for his second save of the season.

The game was scoreless for seven innings and the Z's scored the games first run in the eighth. Jeff Dominguez reached on an infield hit. Dominguez advanced to the third on a Carlos Triunfel throwing error. Gil Velazquez laid down a perfect squeeze bunt and the Z's plate the first run.

The Z's added a run in the ninth inning on a Jeff Dominguez RBI double.

David Pauley pitched four innings of relief and suffered the loss. Tacoma stranded eight men on base in the game.

The Z's are 3.5 games back of first place. Albuquerque was rained out and the Isotopes will play a double-header on Wednesday vs. Tucson.
